240 mg cholesterol is high normal level for most individuals, 200 mg or less.
Have high cholesterol generally any obvious symptoms, so show the problems,
including chest pain or a heart attack. Choose a simple lifestyle as exercise
and a healthy diet can help prevent high blood cholesterol.
Instructions
a)
Eat a diet low in fat,
full of fresh vegetables, fruits and whole grains, and lean meats and poultry.
These foods can help maintain normal cholesterol levels, according to the
American Heart Association. Include fish at least twice a week and focus on
fat-free dairy products. Read labels to find foods low in saturated and trans fat.
Include fiber in your diet; eat lots of dark green power. But don't forget to
go light dressing.
b)
Keep healthy weight,
getting lots of activity-at least five days a week. Walking at least 30
minutes, seven days a week. Consider swimming, cycling, aerobics, dance, or
other forms of activity to increase good cholesterol and lowering bad
cholesterol levels.
c)
Stop smoking if you are
a smoker and avoid second-hand smoke. Avoid places where people smoke as much
as possible.
d)
Know your cholesterol
level number. Consult your doctor for a checkup at least once a year to conduct
a blood test fasting, or go more often recommended. I checked periodically to
keep it under control, and talk to your doctor to get the advice of your
cholesterol levels.
e)
Know your family history
and talk to your doctor about this. High cholesterol levels may be partly
